Climate Change

Climate Change refers to significant and lasting changes in the Earth’s climate patterns, particularly those related to temperature, precipitation, and wind patterns, occurring over extended periods. It is largely driven by human activities, especially the emission of greenhouse gases like carbon dioxide and methane, which trap heat in the atmosphere. Climate change results in a range of environmental impacts, including rising sea levels, increased frequency of extreme weather events (such as hurricanes and droughts), shifts in wildlife populations and habitats, and alterations to agricultural productivity. These changes pose serious risks to ecosystems, human health, and economies worldwide.
